Stuart McKinnon
Stuart started martial arts at 4 years old following his fathers foot steps in Shotokan Karate. Stuart’s father originally owned Karate schools in Scotland and Australia giving Stuart his passion for martial arts. Stuart achieved first dan black belt at 10 years of age, competing in numerous tournaments virtually undefeated as a junior until the age of 17 where he was introduced to Muay Thai kickboxing.
At this point Stuart realised kickboxing was his next big challenge. Training closely with the founder of Bulldog Gym Nick Stone has been Stuarts mentor and trainer since 1992 travelling around Australia stamping the Bulldog name in the ring where ever they went. Together they formed a life long friendship.
Stuarts second home was Thailand’s Fairtex training camp in Bangkok where he learnt physical and mental conditioning.
Stuart now passes his experience and techniques onto his students at Bulldog Gym Castle Hill.
Stuart’s focus is on his younger brother Steven McKinnon whos is the current WBC World Champion and Bulldog Gyms other young guns, Nathan 'Nasty Boy' Robson one to look out for.
Stuart has also trained many World and National Champions some of these include Shane Meads, Frank Zammit, Danny Abduhla and Mick Neilland. Stuart also trains a number of young up and coming fighters that are constantly in the winner’s corner. Stuart was also undefeated as a boxer, but passion has always been Muay Thai.

Steve McKinnon
Steve following in his brothers footsteps also starting martial arts at a young age under the guide of his father achieving black belt and moving over to Muay Thai at the age of 15.
Steve is still a professional fighter and the current WBC World Champion.
Steve is known more for his aggression and power, combined with Stuart’s speed and technique makes for the perfect trainers.
Steve also extensively trained and lived in Thailand over the years.
Steve’s fight record is 57 fights, 50 wins, 26 by KO.
Steve also has a number of belts to his name which include:

Patrik Dittrich
Patrik has around 20 years of experience in muay thai, kickboxing and boxing. He moved to Australia in 2014 and began Muay Thai training at Bulldog Gym Manly with legendary Nick Stone. After retiring from professional fighting after more than 30 fights, he now shares his knowledge and experience at Bulldog Gym Castle Hill. Patrik adapts to his clients needs and physical capabilities making him a great trainer for all ages and abilities. He primarily focuses on technique and conditioning.

Daniel Fleischhans
Daniel moved to Sydney from Czech Republic and has been training in Muay Thai and K1 since he was 14 years old. This year marks his 11th year in the sport! He's extremely passionate about the sport and enjoys helping others develop their skills. Daniel has had 18 amateur fights and 3 professional fights so far, he is also one of our current fighters.

Daniel Jancek
With over 30 years in martial arts and 20 years coaching. Daniel has a background in freestyle karate, kickboxing, grappling, and Muay Thai. Hes has been inducted twice into the ISKA Hall of Fame as both a competitor and coach.

Samuel Taylor
Sam joined Bulldog Gym in 2022 and quickly turned his passion for Muay Thai into a serious fighting career.
With 10 fights, 8 wins and 2 losses, he's proven himself in the ring and now holds the title of NSW State Champion. Known for his sharp technique and relentless work ethis, Sam leads by example every time he trains.

Huss Aridah
“Martial arts is a way of life, a journey to discover your true self, no matter how long it takes. You can try to take the easy road but once pressure comes the holes start to be revealed. So listen to your coach and train hard!“
Huss came to bulldog gym in 2002 . "I lacked a lot of confidence and drive growing up and wanted to change that". He stayed learning under Stuart for 5 years and 4 fights.
Fast forward to where he is right now, Huss is a high level purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu and have had fights in mma, bjj Kickboxing, K1 and FTR. He has also had the privilege of being a full time training partner with former UFC light heavyweight fighter James Tehuna on 2 occasions, both of which he was victorious. Huss also has his cert IV as a fitness instructor.
